Seventeen corners, and every one is a real place on the map. This Lithuania racing game runs the Lithuanian Grand Prix on a track drawn from Lithuania's border: north-east through Panevėžys and Utena, south to Vilnius and Alytus, across to Marijampolė, then out to the Curonian Lagoon, the water the Curonian Spit keeps from the Baltic, before Klaipėda closes the lap.

It's a riverfront layout and close to dead flat, with just 6 metres of climb in 4.3 km.

Around the Lithuania track

Trakai Island Castle stands on its island in the lake, and it's the landmark you keep catching between corners. The Hill of Crosses and the Gediminas tower in Vilnius sit further out. Lakes break up the land, wheat fields fill the gaps, and the trackside buildings are timber in the Nordic style. A banner greets you with 'Sveiki atvykę', and the boards read Kaunas, Palanga, Šiauliai and Nemunas.

How to drive the Lithuania circuit

Seven hundred metres of main straight run into Purviškiai II at turn 1, the obvious place to pass. Nothing here goes up or down much, so the lap is about rhythm through the lake country. The slow one is Senieji Miežionys, turn 9, taken at 75 km/h just after Vilnius.
