Start in the south-east at Korçë, and the border does the rest. Here the Albania racing game gives you a race track shaped like Albania: it runs down through Gjirokastër to Sarandë on the coast, along to Vlorë, north via Fier, Lushnjë and Lezhë to Shkodër, and back across the mountains through Bajram Curri and Kukës. That makes 14 corners over 4.3 km, each named for the place on the outline it follows.
It's an old-school layout with 42 metres of climb in the hills, built for the Albanian Grand Prix.

Around the Albania track
The Et'hem Bey Mosque and its Clock Tower stand over the circuit, and Rozafa castle sits on a hill further round. Look closer and there are concrete bunkers dotted through the scenery, half-sunk into the slopes. Olive groves fill the hillsides between Mediterranean houses, with cars and mopeds parked by the fence. The banner says Mirë se vini, and the boards along the barriers read Durrës, Vlorë, Shkodër, Berat and Tirana.

How to drive the Albania circuit
The main straight runs 760 metres and finishes at Korçë, the place to make a move. Vlorë, turn 4, is the slowest corner at 83 km/h, and it comes right after the coast at Sarandë. The rest of the lap is quick, flowing old-school stuff through the hills.
