From Anatoliki Makedonia kai Thraki the lap passes Ayion Oros, Mount Athos, and Polygyros, comes south through Thessalia and Stereá Elláda to Attiki and Piraeus, rounds the Peloponnisos by Sparti, then heads north past Patra to Ipeiros.

Around the Greece track
The Parthenon stands on the Acropolis above the track, and the coast below is pure Cyclades: white houses, a chapel with a blue dome and a windmill. Olive groves cover the slopes, and cars and mopeds are parked behind the fences. The banner says Καλώς ήρθατε, and the boards name Thessaloniki, Olympos, Kriti, Rodos, Patra and Athens. Clear skies, and the sea below.

How to drive the Greece circuit
The straight is 1,320 metres long and ends at Anatoliki Makedonia kai Thraki, turn 1, a big stop and the clearest place to pass. The slowest corner is Dhervéni at 67 km/h, turn 12, just before Patra, and the cliff road climbs 50 metres over the lap, so there's little room off the line.
