Short, quick and built around one huge straight, the Guam racing game packs a lot into 3.7 km. It's a race track shaped like Guam, its lap following the island's coast through just eight corners. From Achang Bay it heads to Achugao Point, then round Facpi Point and Taleyfac Bay, through the corner named Guam, and back past Pajon Point, Mergagan Point and Patti Point Cape. Every corner takes its name from the shoreline it traces.

It's a downtown street circuit with 28 metres of gentle rolling climb.

Around the Guam track

Two Lovers Point and its latte stones are the landmark here, a clifftop over the sea with the island's old stone pillars close by. Around the streets you'll pass a Spanish church and a lighthouse, low Pacific thatched roofs and banana plants. Pickups and SUVs sit behind the barriers, and a flag-waving crowd fills the pavements. A banner greets you with Håfa adai, and the boards read Hagåtña.

How to drive the Guam circuit

Everything leads to the 1,300-metre main straight, which ends at Achang Bay: brake hard, because it's turn 1 and the best place to pass. Turn 5, the corner named Guam, is the slowest of the lap at 68 km/h. The rolling streets add small rises but nothing that unsettles the car.
