Quick and hilly, this Nigeria racing game never drops below 99 km/h in a corner. It's a track drawn from Nigeria's border: Yau at the end of the main straight, then Borno in the north-east, south through Mayo Beli and Taraba, down to the coast at Rivers and the Niger Delta, and west along the shore before swinging north to Kebbi. Ten corners in 4.3 km, with 43 metres of climb.

The Nigerian Grand Prix runs on an old-school, purpose-built layout with mist hanging over the hills.

Around the Nigeria track

Zuma Rock, a great bare dome of granite, stands over the lap, with the Lagos skyline across the way. The National Theatre sits closer to the track, and palm trees and oil palms fill the hillsides between modern buildings. Mist softens the hills. Minibuses and mopeds are parked trackside. The banner welcomes you in English, Yoruba and Igbo, and the boards name Lagos, Abuja, Kano, Ibadan and Port Harcourt.

How to drive the Nigeria circuit

The main straight is 890 metres and finishes at Yau, turn 1. Rivers, turn 6, is the slowest corner on the lap and still goes at 99 km/h. Most of the time you're in fast, flowing bends, rising and falling over the hills, so smooth inputs count for more than late braking.
