Sardinia is an Italian island with its own circuit, separate from Italy's. The Sardinia racing game uses a track drawn from Sardinia's coastline, starting at Spiaggia Cuccureddus and Cagliari in the south, running up the west through Carbonia-Iglesias, Medio Campidano and Marceddi to Sassari, then along the north past Spiaggia delle Saline to Porto Cervo and Olbia before coming down to Nuoro.
The Sardinia Grand Prix is a hilly cliff road with 46 metres of climb, in the spirit of the Costa Smeralda.

Around the Sardinia track
A nuraghe, one of the island's round stone towers, stands above the road. Yachts sit in the bays, sea stacks rise off the cliffs, and an old olive tree leans over the track among the olive groves. The buildings are Mediterranean. Cars and mopeds are parked by the fences, the banner reads Benènnidos, and the boards name Cagliari, Sassari, Olbia, Alghero and Costa Smeralda.

How to drive the Sardinia circuit
The main straight runs 760 metres to Spiaggia Cuccureddus, turn 1. The slowest corner is Spiaggia delle Saline, turn 10, at 73 km/h, out in the north-west. Along the cliffs the road rises and falls over 46 metres in total, so the run through Porto Cervo and Olbia rewards a smooth line.
