The Wallis and Futuna racing game keeps things simple: woodland, a cathedral and eleven corners round the shore. The track is drawn from Wallis and Futuna's coastline, and its corners trace the island of Wallis, or 'Uvea: from Loto O Ifeli past Pointe Tepako and Apaogo, round a run of headlands at Pointe Utuloko, Pointe Pukokena and Pointe Houma, inland by Mont Holo and Mont Loka, and back to Makaosila.
It rolls gently over 20 metres of climb.

Around the Wallis and Futuna track
Mata-Utu Cathedral stands over the lap, the big landmark in a quiet island landscape. Thatched fale sit among the banana plants, an outrigger lies on the beach, and the woods run down to the water. Pickups and mopeds are parked behind the fences, and the welcome banner comes in two languages: Bienvenue and Mālō te ma'uli. The boards read Mata-Utu.

How to drive the Wallis and Futuna circuit
The 670-metre main straight ends at Loto O Ifeli, turn 1. The slowest corner is the last one, Makaosila, at 86 km/h, quick enough to take with commitment, and its exit decides your speed down the straight. In between, the lap rolls over low rises through the woods.
