The Sydney Opera House is the first thing you see, and the coastline of a whole continent is what you drive. This Australia racing game hosts the Australian Grand Prix on a race track shaped like Australia: from Queensland round Wilsons Promontory and Cape Otway, across the Great Australian Bight to Shark Bay and Western Australia, up to the Kimberley Plateau, then over Arnhem Land and the Gulf of Carpentaria to Cape York Peninsula.

It's a harbour circuit in the spirit of Sydney Harbour, rolling over 20 metres, with 16 corners in 4.3 km.

Around the Australia track

Sydney Harbour is the setting. The Opera House sits on the water, the lap crosses a bridge over the harbour with the Harbour Bridge itself in the scenery, then curls around a marina full of moored boats. Further out the country appears in miniature: Uluru, kangaroos on the savanna, wheat fields. Utes, four-by-fours and cars are parked by the fence. The banner says G'day · Welcome, and the boards read Melbourne, Bathurst, Perth, Adelaide and Phillip Island.

How to drive the Australia circuit

The main straight is 590 metres and ends at Queensland. There's a crest on the lap where the car goes light, so keep it pointed straight over the top. The slowest corner is the last one, Cape York Peninsula, at 76 km/h, and getting out of it cleanly sets up the run to the line.
