Eight corners and none of them slow. The Guernsey racing game gives the island a marina circuit, a race track shaped like Guernsey that loops its coast from the English Channel corner past Doyle Pass and Sark, out to Dog and Lion Rocks and La Pointe de Pleinmont, then back by La Saline, La Rocque and Beacon Staff. At 4.3 km it's compact, but you spend most of it at speed.
The Grand Prix of Guernsey runs under overcast skies on a flat harbour layout with 10 metres of climb.

Around the Guernsey track
Castle Cornet guards the harbour, and the Little Chapel and a lighthouse sit along the lap. Rows of British terraced houses face the water, cars are parked behind the barriers and the crowd waves flags under a low grey sky. A banner says Welcome to Guernsey, and the boards read Saint Peter Port. There are no fields or crops to speak of: it's stone, sea and harbour walls all the way round.

How to drive the Guernsey circuit
The 1,080-metre main straight finishes at the English Channel corner, turn 1, and that's where most passes happen. Even the slowest corner, La Saline at 110 km/h, is quick, so keep your momentum through the sweepers. The ground barely rises, so it's all about carrying speed and judging the brakes.
