Old airfield, fast and flat: the United Kingdom racing game hosts the British Grand Prix in the spirit of Silverstone, past a row of hangars. The track is drawn from the United Kingdom's coastline, and its 17 corners follow it from Suffolk and Kent along the Channel, round Wales via Pembrokeshire and Gwynedd, up past Cumbria and the Scottish west coast to Fort William and Wick, then down through Aberdeenshire to Fife.

With 11 metres of climb, it's built for momentum.

Around the United Kingdom track

Big Ben and the Palace of Westminster stand on the skyline, and Tower Bridge and Stonehenge appear further round the lap. Closer in there's a red telephone box by the fence, with black cabs, double-decker buses and cars parked behind the barriers and terraced houses in the background. The old hangars line one side of the airfield. The boards read Thames, Manchester, Edinburgh, Cardiff, Belfast, Cornwall and Snowdon.

How to drive the United Kingdom circuit

The 720-metre main straight ends at Suffolk, turn 1, the best place to pass. Two corners later comes the slowest of the lap, the English Channel, at 85 km/h, which is quick for a slowest corner. It's flat and fast everywhere else, so the lap rewards smooth hands through the long corners.
