Bran Castle on its rock, sunflowers in the valleys, and a lot of climbing in between. The Romania racing game runs on a race track shaped like Romania, starting at Dolj in the south-west, passing Drobeta-Turnu Severin, then heading north along the western border through Timișoara, Arad and Bihor to Maramures. It crosses the top to Iasi, drops to Tulcea and the Danube Delta, and runs down the Black Sea coast through Constanța.

The Romanian Grand Prix is an extreme mountain lap, 136 metres of total climb over 4.6 km.

Around the Romania track

Bran Castle looks down from its rock, and the Palace of the Parliament fills the skyline on the far side. A wooden Maramureș church stands among the hills, sunflower fields fill the low ground, and baroque town buildings line the streets. Ladas, cars and a horse-cart are parked by the fences. Bine ați venit, says the banner, and the boards name Cluj, Carpați, Timișoara, Constanța and Dunărea.
