Snow is falling on this one. The Russia racing game squeezes a track drawn from Russia's outline into 4.3 km: it starts at the Abakanskiy Range, crosses the Kazakh and Pontic steppes, heads up to Smolensk and the Kola Peninsula, then runs the whole Arctic coast past Yamal, Taymyr and the Gulf of Yana. It rounds the Gulf of Kamchatka and finishes in the far east at Khabarovsk, Primor'ye and Yevrey.

The Russian Grand Prix is a flat winter city race with only 12 metres of climb and the feel of Moscow in winter.

Around the Russia track

Snow falls across the whole lap. Saint Basil's Cathedral sits at the heart of the scenery, with a Kremlin tower close by and the Ostankino tower on the skyline. Soviet blocks line the streets, and the land beyond turns from wheat fields to tundra. Ladas, buses and trams are parked by the fences. The banner reads Добро пожаловать, and the boards name Volga, Sibir, Kazan, Sochi, Ural, Neva and Baikal.

How to drive the Russia circuit

The main straight is 460 metres and ends at the Abakanskiy Range, turn 1. The slowest corner is the Gulf of Kamchatka, turn 16, at 60 km/h, and on a snowy, flat street it arrives quickly after the long Arctic run. Twenty corners leave little time to rest, so smooth inputs win.
