Victoria Falls is the backdrop to this Zambia racing game, where the Zambezi drops over the edge between Zambia and Zimbabwe. The track is drawn from Zambia's border: from the Southern and Western corners up past Zambezi and Mwinilunga, through Solwezi and Chililabombwe, out to Luapula and Nchelenge, then down the eastern side through Lundazi and Chipata to finish at Lusaka.
Sixteen corners in 4.3 km, with a rolling 23 metres of climb through lake parkland.

Around the Zambia track
The falls pour down beside the lap, and the Victoria Falls bridge crosses nearby. A big baobab stands on the savanna, and village houses sit among the long grass by the river. Land cruisers and minibuses are parked by the fences, the crowd waves flags, the banner says Mwaiseni and Welcome, and the boards read Livingstone, Ndola, Kitwe, Kafue and Lusaka.

How to drive the Zambia circuit
There's not much straight to speak of: 350 metres, ending at Southern, turn 1. The slowest corner, Mwinilunga at 79 km/h, comes early at turn 5, and from there the lap is a long run of sweeping bends round the country's outline, gently rising and falling all the way to Lusaka.
