Mount Ararat comes and goes through the mist as you lap. The Armenia racing game sets the Armenian Grand Prix on a track drawn from Armenia's border, 4.3 km with 14 corners named for the regions and towns it traces. Armavir comes first, then Shirak and Gyumri, Tavush and Ijevan, Gegharkunik and Syunik further round, and Yeghegnadzor and Vayots Dzor to close the loop.
It's an old-school circuit with 49 metres of climb in the highlands, and the mist rarely lifts.

Around the Armenia track
Khor Virap monastery sits in the foreground with Mount Ararat rising behind it, the big view of the lap. Khachkar cross-stones, carved and upright, stand along the verges. The town by the track is Soviet-era apartment blocks, with Ladas and cars parked outside. Mist hangs over the highland. A banner reads Բարի գալուստ, and the boards name Gyumri, Sevan, Ararat, Vanadzor, Dilijan and Yerevan.

How to drive the Armenia circuit
From the 620-metre main straight, brake for Armavir at turn 1. Gyumri arrives two corners later and is the slowest of the lap at 81 km/h. After that it's flowing old-school corners through the hills, with 49 metres of climb and mist making the far corners hard to read.
