Coast to coast in 17 corners. The Canada racing game hosts the Canadian Grand Prix on a race track shaped like Canada: the straight ends at Queen Charlotte Strait, the lap climbs the Coast Mountains to Mackenzie Bay, crosses Nunavut and the North Western Passages to the Boothia Peninsula, then runs down past Cape Churchill and James Bay, out through Hudson Strait and Ungava Bay to Newfoundland and Labrador, and back to Ontario.

It's a flat island park in the spirit of Île Notre-Dame, with only 6 metres of climb and a lake beside the track.

Around the Canada track

The CN Tower stands over the skyline, and the Château Frontenac's green roofs appear further round. A stone Inukshuk stands by the lake, the Rocky Mountains fill the distant horizon, and the island park is open, green and flat. Pickups, cars and snowmobiles are parked by the fences. One concrete wall sits right against the racing line, waiting for anyone who takes too much kerb. The banner says Welcome · Bienvenue, and the boards read Montréal, Toronto, Vancouver, Calgary, Québec and Mosport.

How to drive the Canada circuit

The 840-metre main straight finishes at Queen Charlotte Strait, the best braking zone for a pass. Boothia Peninsula, turn 7, is the slowest corner at 79 km/h. The island is flat, so the lap is all about late braking, using the kerbs and keeping off the wall.
