Olive groves and harbour walls set the scene for the Cyprus racing game, on a track drawn from Cyprus's coastline. From Limassol the lap heads west past Trachóni and Órmos Avdímou to Paphos, rounds the Akámas, follows the shore by Pomós and Káto Pýrgos, then cuts inland through Nicosia and Aglantziá before finishing at Larnaca. Eighteen corners, 4.3 km, each one named after the place it traces.

The Cypriot Grand Prix is a marina circuit with 29 metres of rolling climb.

Around the Cyprus track

Kyrenia Castle and Aphrodite's Rock are the big landmarks, both by the sea. A Byzantine chapel and a church from the Troodos stand among the olive groves, and the buildings are Mediterranean in style. Cars and mopeds are parked along the fences. The banner greets you in both Greek and Turkish, and the boards name Limassol, Larnaca, Paphos, Troodos, Ayia Napa and Nicosia. The sky is clear all the way round.
