The Israel racing game is a street circuit through an old town, with 13 corners over 4.3 km. It's a track drawn from Israel's outline, and the corner names follow the map: Haifa first, then north to Yir’on and Har Shalhavit, through HaZafon and Nazareth, down by HaMerkaz and Jerusalem, and on into HaDarom, past Tel Goren and Har Yo’ash to Shlomit at the end of the lap.

The Israeli Grand Prix rolls gently, with 27 metres of climb, and the old-town streets keep you busy.

Around the Israel track

The Dome of the Rock and the old city walls form the backdrop, and walls of Jerusalem stone line the streets. Olive trees and olive groves fill the hillsides, courtyard buildings sit behind the barriers, and cars and buses are parked along the kerbs. The crowd waves flags, the banner greets you in Hebrew and Arabic, and the boards name Haifa, Tel Aviv, Eilat, Galilee and the Negev.

How to drive the Israel circuit

The 850-metre main straight ends at Haifa, turn 1, the clearest place to pass. Jerusalem, turn 9, is the slowest corner at 70 km/h, a proper stop in the old streets. The rolling ground adds small rises and falls, but the lap is mostly about getting the slow corners right.
