Skyline harbour

Skyline first, everything else second: the Hong Kong racing game is a harbour circuit built around the city's towers. It's a track drawn from Hong Kong's border and coast, starting at Sha Tau Kok Hoi in the north, cutting through Tai Po and Sha Tin, out round the Sai Kung peninsula, then back in through Kwun Tong and Kowloon City to Kwai Tsing and Tuen Mun. Seventeen corners over 4.3 km.

The Grand Prix of Hong Kong has rolling elevation, 30 metres of climb, much of it on the way up to the viaduct.

Around the Hong Kong track

The skyline is the show, with the Bank of China Tower standing out among the glass. The lap runs between the towers and climbs onto a viaduct where the ground drops away below the road. A red-sail junk crosses the harbour, the Tian Tan Buddha sits up in the hills, and trams, buses and taxis are parked along the barriers. The banner reads 歡迎 · Welcome, and the boards keep it simple: Hong Kong.
