Kinshasa is on the boards and the Congo River is in view, but the DR Congo racing game takes its shape from the whole country. You race a track drawn from DR Congo's border: it opens in the Great Rift Valley, runs south to Katanga, Lubumbashi and Kipushi, west by Dilolo and Kahemba to Bandundu and Moanda, then north through Zongo and Équateur before reaching the Mitumba Mountains. Thirteen corners in 4.3 km.
The Grand Prix of DR Congo is a parkland lap round a lake, with 30 metres of climb and mist in the air. It isn't the Congo circuit, which has its own page.

Around the DR Congo track
The Echangeur tower stands over the park, and barges sit on the Congo River beyond it. An okapi statue waits by the track. Banana plants and oil palms fill the ground between the bends, and minibuses and mopeds are parked behind the barriers. The banner says Boyei malamu and Bienvenue, the boards read Kinshasa, and mist hangs low over the lake.

How to drive the DR Congo circuit
The 620-metre main straight leads into the Great Rift Valley, turn 1, and that's your best overtaking spot. Three corners on, Kipushi is the slowest of the lap at 77 km/h. The rest rolls along at a steady pace, with 30 metres of climb, and the mist makes braking points harder to pick out.

DR Congo racing game: questions
Is the DR Congo track the same as the Congo one?
No. DR Congo, with Kinshasa on its boards, has its own lakeside circuit. Congo has a separate airfield track.
Is it misty on the DR Congo circuit?
Yes. Mist hangs over the lake and the park, so the far corners appear late.
How long is the DR Congo circuit?
4.3 km, with 13 turns and 30 metres of climb. The main straight is 620 metres long, and the slowest corner, Kipushi, is taken at 77 km/h.
Can I race DR Congo on my phone?
Yes. Globe Prix plays on phones and tablets with touch or tilt steering, and on desktop with a keyboard or a gamepad.
